It should be well mixed but with some texture - some pieces may be the size of small pebbles. (Optional) Add oats to the bowl and stir through with a spatula.

Peel and cut the apple into pieces, arrange them in small ramekins. Divide the mixture between the prepared muffin holes (filling to ⅔ full). Those that require a little more time or cooking skills are rated medium or advanced.
